This recipe by Wally Cooks Everything on YouTube is one of my favorite ways to prepare chicken because it’s super crispy and flavorful! I always make this for dinner and whenever my family would request it, I also prepare this whenever I have friends coming over. You should definitely give this a try and serve this for dinner with steaming rice on the side or whatever is your favorite side dish.
Chicken Marinade
Sauce
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, add the chicken, cooking wine, light soy sauce, sesame oil, and egg, then give them a good mix to combine, add the cornflour, and continue to mix until incorporated. Place them in a refrigerator to marinate for at least 5 minutes, then in a separate mixing bowl or measuring cup, mix together the ketchup, sugar, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, MSG, and cornflour until uniform and combined, and set it aside for later.
Step 2
Add the cornflour to a large bowl, then start dredging the marinated chicken until well coated, and heat up enough oil to for deep frying to 350°F. Once the oil is hot enough, shake off the excess flour, then start frying them in batches to not overcrowd the pan, and cook them for about 2 to 3 minutes or until light golden brown.

Step 3
Place the cooked chicken in a wire rack to drain off the excess oil, then turn up the heat to high, and refry the chicken for about 30 seconds or until crispy and golden brown. Turn off the heat, then drain off the excess oil, and set them aside. Place a clean pan on a stove over medium heat, then heat up about 2 tablespoons of oil, and add the veggies.
Step 4
Saute them for about 1 minute or until translucent and softened, then lower the heat, and add the sauce mixture. Give them a good stir and cook them until thickened, then turn off the heat, and add the fried chicken. Give them a good toss, then add the pineapple chunks, and mix them together. Cook them for about 30 more seconds, then serve, and enjoy!
