Ingredients for Strawberry Rice Krispies Treats:
- 23g or 0.8oz of freeze-dried strawberries
- ¼ cup of salted butter
- 28g or 10oz of mini marshmallows
- 5¾ cup of Rice Krispies cereal
How to Make Strawberry Rice Krispies Treats:
Step 1
In a food processor, add the freeze-dried strawberries, then blend them until fine powder, and set them aside. Place a large saucepan on a stove over medium heat, then add the butter and let it melt, and then turn off the heat. Remove the saucepan from the stove, then add the marshmallows to the melted butter, and stir them around until completely melted.
Step 2
Add the Rice Krispies cereal and strawberry powder, then give them a good stir until completely coated, and transfer it to a 9×13-inch pan lined with parchment paper. Press the cereal mixture down on the pan firmly and spread it evenly, then set it aside to cool completely, and once ready, cut it into squares. Serve and enjoy!
