The best way to prepare and welcome the Fall season is by making sure that your yard is well maintained and looks neat. So here are 3 easy steps that you can follow to make cleaning up your yard much easier and faster! All thanks to Lowe’s Home Improvement on YouTube for these amazing and useful tips.
Step 1
If your lawn tends to have a lot of falling leaves, then it’s best to lay out a tarp to catch all of the fallen leaves and make removing them easier. You can also use a rake or leaf blower to push all of the fallen leaves onto the tarp, then gather the ends of the tarp together at the center, and hold them with a carabiner to create a huge leaf bag that you can drag anywhere you want and makes dumping the leaves easier.

Step 2
Fallen leaves can also block the gutters and clog drain pipes, so make sure to clear them out as well, then use a gutter attachment to your hose or pressure washer to rinse the gutters clean. Flower beds can also suffer and be filled with fallen leaves during the Fall season, so it is very important to make that they are well maintained and clean as well. This will keep them nice and free of pests.
Step 3
Keep the leaves you have collected in a paper or plastic bag until the spring comes, then use them as mulch to control the weeds that appear in your garden. Also, if you live in an area where there’s low temperature, you can shred the leaves and put them around the base of your plants to insulate and protect them against the winter cold. You also have to keep in mind that the Fall season is the best time to remove dying plants and flowers, make sure to pressure wash the sidewalks or concrete driveway as well to remove all of the leftover stains.
