How to Clean Stainless Steel Properly:

Step 1

First, make a soapy water mixture in the sink, you can use dish soap or if you want a more natural version you can also use castile soap. You can add vinegar or rubbing alcohol to the mixture or just use it as is, just squeeze some soap on the sink, then add water, and mix it with your hands to make it foam up.

Step 2

Soak the cloth or rag to the mixture, then wring out the excess water, and wipe the stainless surface of your appliance with it making sure to wipe along the grain. If you don’t want the mixture on your sink, you can instead do it on a spray bottle which is more convenient because you can take it anywhere you go, just spray some on the surface and wipe it clean.

Step 3

Another method you can try is shaving cream, just apply some on the stainless surface, then buff it out with a clean rag, and make sure to wipe along the grain. To moisturize and shine the surface, you can add some avocado or coconut oil on a rag, and wipe the surface clean with it. If you’re using coconut oil, make sure to heat it first so that it’s melted and in liquid form.
