This easy stained glass project is even more fun with a good pattern. A relatively child friendly project and a page from a coloring book can be used for your pattern along with an 8×10 photo frame.  Or, you can use a large sheet of glass and draw out a detailed pattern.

Imagine the beautiful results you can achieve with very little outlay, unlike real stained glass. You can even use glass panels and windows in your own home.

Someone was throwing about glass front doors to end tables and I grabbed one because I thought it was so cool looking. I knew there was a project I could use it for, I just didn’t know it was going to be this project and it was perfect for it!

For this project she used:

  • One framed picture covered with glass
  • One bottle of white glue
  • One bottle of clear glue
  • Acrylic paints
  • Black Sharpie pen
  • Craft Blade
  • Super Glue
  • Peacock pattern (or page from a coloring book)
  • Clear acrylic spray sealant
