This is such a fun project and I bet you will enjoy making it, too. So, if you don’t know what quilt to get your hands on this weekend yet, check out this Spring roses quilt block, and you might just love it. Learn the easy steps now by reading the instructions down below and make sure to check out the video tutorial as well.
Step 1
Download the pattern, then cut the fabrics to size, and start making the half-square triangle units. Draw the pattern onto the wrong side of the cream fabric, then place it on top of the dark rose fabric with their right sides facing, and pin them together.
Step 2
Stitch along the straight lines, then sew on either side of the diagonal lines with ¼ inch seam allowance and trim off the excess. Cut them apart along the diagonal lines, then press them open, and proceed to make the rest of the half-square triangle units using the same steps.
Step 3
Assemble the inner corner of the quilt block making sure to refer to the pattern, then stitch them together, and press it down. Make the other 3 variations of the inner corner block, then piece together the log cabin strips, and stitch them around the inner corner blocks making sure to press the seams as you go.
