Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • ¼ cup of oil
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1 tsp of vanilla

Directions:

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, add the eggs, then beat them for about a minute before adding the sugar, and then continue to beat until the consistency becomes foamy. Add the oil, then continue to beat them together, and sift over the all-purpose flour and baking powder gradually. Fold them and mix well in between each addition, then set it aside, and place a pan on a stove over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Add the milk to the pan followed by the butter, then bring it to a boil, and turn off the flame. Add the vanilla to the hot milk, then give them a good mix until incorporated, and pour the hot milk mixture into the cake batter. Slowly stir them together until combined, then grease a 7-inch baking pan, and line the bottom with parchment paper.

Step 3

Pour the batter into the prepared pan, then spread it evenly, and place it in the preheated oven at 180°C or 356°F. Allow it to bake for about 30 to 40 minutes, then let it cool down, and unmold removing the parchment paper at the bottom as well. Slice the bread, then serve, and enjoy!
