Ingredients:

  • 14 pcs. pork sausages
  • 2 large carrots, cut into bite-size pieces
  • half a rutabaga, cut into chunks
  • 2 small parsnips, cut into chunks
  • 1 medium onion, finely sliced
  • 1 & 1/2 cups of water
  • 1 packet of seasoning mix (or gravy powder)
  • salt, pepper, and dried herbs to taste
  • 1/2 can cream of tomato soup

Directions:

Step 1

Add some vegetable oil to a pan, fry the sausages until brown, then chop them into bite-size pieces. Next, get over to your slow cooker and add 1 & 1/2 cups of water, 1 packet of seasoning mix, 1 tsp dried sage, 1 tsp dried thyme, sliced onion, chopped carrots, chopped rutabaga, and diced parsnips.

Step 2

Give it a good mix, then add the sausages, 1/2 can cream of tomato soup, and salt and pepper to taste. Put the lid on, set the slow cooker on high, and cook for five hours.
