I’ve tried a lot of BBQ pork versions before but my ultimate favorite is this recipe by Views on the road on YouTube because it’s so delicious and melts in your mouth! What I also love about this dish is that there are a lot of ways that you can serve this, you can make your own tacos or sandwich and you can also pair this with your favorite side dish. Try this recipe now and you’ll surely be amazed.
Salsa Verde Slaw
Step 1
Chop the meat into smaller pieces, then place them in a large bowl, and season them with salt and pepper. Mix and massage the meat until well seasoned, then place them in the slow cooker with hot melted lard, and let them cook while preparing the sauce mixture. Prepare the chiles, then soak them in hot water for about 8 to 10 minutes or until soft, and then drain off all the water before putting them in the blender. Add the cloves, oregano, cumin, chicken bouillon, and apple cider vinegar to the same blender, then blend them all together until smooth, and pour it right over the cooking meat.

Step 2
Add a little bit of water to the blender to get the remaining sauce and pour it into the meat as well, then give them a good mix, and add the garlic cloves, sliced onion, and bay leaves. Mix them all together to combine, then cook them on a low setting for about 8 hours, and shred. Mix together all of the salsa verde slaw ingredients in a large mixing bowl, then assemble your BBQ taco or sandwich, and serve. Enjoy!
