Chop off both ends of each carrot, then peel off the skin, and start cutting them into however you like making sure they are of the same size as much as possible. Place a pan on a stove over medium heat, then add the butter, and let it melt completely while stirring consistently. Once the butter has turned golden brown, add the sugar, then stir them together to combine before adding the rosemary, oil, ground cinnamon, pepper, and salt, and continue stirring them together until well combined and smooth. Place the sliced carrots in a large mixing bowl, then pour the glaze mixture all over the carrots, and toss them together until well coated.

Grease the baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray, then transfer the glazed carrots spreading them nicely in a single layer, and put them in the center rack of a preheated oven. Let them roast at 400°F for about 20 minutes or longer if you want them more charred, then add the garlic and pepper flakes at the last 5 minutes of roasting, and flip them over for about 1 to 2 times or every 10 minutes. Transfer the roasted carrots to a serving plate or bowl, then garnish with freshly chopped parsley, serve, and enjoy!
