I always save all the plastic bags that I got from the store because I know it would be a waste to just throw them out, especially since we do a lot of shopping. There are a bunch of ways to utilize and recycle them that will surely surprise you because you never thought that they can be that useful. Here are a few tips and hacks that you can learn from Andrea Jean Cleaning on YouTube.
Tip #1
When dealing with crumbs, lint, or huge balls of dust, and you hate having your broom clumped with all those unwanted stuff, then you might want to consider this trick. Wrap your broom with a plastic bag, then go on ahead and sweep away those super dirty spots or areas without worrying about having to clean your broom just to get rid of the stuck hair and dust buildup.

Tip #2
When storing or packing fragile stuff such as mugs and plates, you can wrap them first with a plastic bag, then put them inside a box, and fill the sides with clumps of plastic bag. This is a great alternative for bubble wraps or similar. Also, you can insert clumps of plastic bags inside a shoe for an easy and cheap shoe reshaper.
Tip #3
Make sure to wrap the meat in a plastic bag even if they are already sealed or wrapped before placing them inside the fridge. This will help prevent a mess in your fridge once the meat starts to thaw out.
Tip #4
During winter, help keep your side mirrors clean and clear of ice by wrapping them in plastic bags. Other items that you can cover with plastic bags are bowls, if someone is sick or is vomiting frequently, wrap a container with a plastic bag for easy cleaning. This is also perfect when peeling and deseeding vegetables as you can easily throw away all of the waste.
Tip #5
Instead of adding ice directly into your cooler, add them in plastic bags first, then tie them loosely leaving lots of areas for them to move around, and place the plastic bags filled with ice inside the cooler before placing your beverages on top. The bag will catch all the melted ice and it’ll be easier to clean.
