Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined, then set them aside. In another bowl, add the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar, then beat them together until light and fluffy, add the egg, and continue to mix until smooth and incorporated.
Step 2
Add the milk and vanilla extract, then keep mixing to combine, then add the crushed potato chips and chocolate chips, and fold with a spatula until evenly distributed. Add the flour mixture, then keep folding until the dough comes together, and cover the bowl with plastic wrap.

Step 3
Put it in the refrigerator, then allow it to chill for about 30 minutes or until ready to bake, and preheat the oven to 375°F while waiting. Line the baking sheets with parchment paper, then scoop the dough, and shape them into balls before placing them in the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4
Make sure to space the dough balls evenly, then put them in the preheated oven, and bake them for about 12 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are lightly browned. Allow them to cool down for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack, and let them cool down completely. Serve and enjoy!
