Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour (or bread flour)
  • 1 tsp salt + 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic granules/powder
  • 2 – 1/4 tsp instant dry yeast
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • mini mozzarella cheese (grated)
  • black pepper, parsley, grated cheese

For the filling:

  • tomato paste
  • oregano
  • parsley

Directions:

Step 1

In a bowl, combine 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp sugar. After mixing, add 1 tsp garlic granules, 2 – 1/4 tsp instant dry yeast, 3 tbsp olive oil, and 1 cup warm water. Mix thoroughly until dough forms, then knead until smooth (about 5 to 8 minutes.) Next, sprinkle some flour on the dough, then cover and leave it in a warm place for an hour. After an hour, uncover and divide the dough into 16 equal pieces.

Step 2

After this, shape the dough into small balls and flatten them. Spread the tomato paste + oregano + parsley filling and mozzarella cheese into the top. (You can also put any filling you prefer.) After putting the filling, shape the dough into a ball to close it tightly. Do this process to the rest of the dough. Put them on a baking tray and cover for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, brush the dough with the remaining tomato paste, then sprinkle some shredded cheese on top. Place it in the oven at 400 degrees F and bake for 20 minutes.
