Every Christmas, Easter, or Thanksgiving, one thing that never goes missing on our table is a delicious ham glazed with flavorful pineapple honey syrup. It’s a staple on every special occasion and is what most of us are looking forward to eating. Both kids and adults alike enjoy the ham served to the table because it’s so tasty, juicy, and tender that it just melts in your mouth.

When it comes to the recipe, one of my favorites is this version by Camirra’s Kitchen on YouTube. It’s super easy to make and it makes the ham so delicious and juicy. It also comes with an equally tasty recipe for a pineapple honey glaze that makes the ham even more incredible. So if you’re looking for a recipe to complete your menu this holiday, be sure to check out this one, and I’m sure you’ll love it.
Step 1
Line a baking dish with aluminum foil, then place the ham, break the pineapple slices apart in half, and place them inside each slice of ham. Push the cherries inside the slices as well, then stick cloves all around the slices of the ham, and secure the slices with toothpicks to help keep the pineapples and cherries from falling out. If the back of the ham is unsliced, score it nicely as shown in the video, then place the whole pineapple slices on top of the ham, and put a cherry at the center.

Step 2
Stick a toothpick to hold them in place, and repeat the same steps all over the ham. Pour in some of the reserved pineapple juice to the bottom of the ham, then cover the ham with aluminum foil, and put it inside a preheated oven. Allow the ham to bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours at 325°F, then while waiting prepare the glaze. In a saucepan, add the salted butter, honey, brown sugar, ¼ cup each of the pineapple and cherry juice, cinnamon, ginger, Dijon mustard, nutmeg, and salt.
Step 3
Place the saucepan on a stove over medium to medium-high heat, then allow the syrup to cook until melted while stirring occasionally. Check the ham, then baste it in its juices making sure to get into each slice, then put it back in the oven, and allow it to bake uncovered at 400°F for about 10 more minutes. After a few minutes, glaze the ham with the prepared glaze, then put it back in the oven, and let it cook for 25 more minutes making sure to baste the ham every 5 minutes.
