Since the 4th of July is almost here, I thought it may be the right time to start making decorations and projects to commemorate the event. Apart from making wreaths and other themed trinkets to display around the house, I also love making quilts.

One of my most recent favorite quilts to make is this one by Thimble Storm on YouTube, this quilt is the perfect decor to hang on your wall or use wherever you want. Learn how to make this quilt now by reading the written instructions down below and watching the video tutorial as well for more details.
Step 1
Download the pattern and cut the fabrics according to the instructions, then arrange 3 white squares and 1 blue square together in a block unit, and repeat 3 more times alternating the position of the blue square as shown in the video.
Step 2
Stitch them together and press the seams as you go, then stitch a blue square on all empty corners of each block unit diagonally, trim the excess, and press open. Stitch the sashing to go in between each block unit, then stitch them together, and set the block aside.
Step 3
Arrange the red and white strips, then stitch them together, press the seams as you go, and cut them into two sets. Arrange the pieces together, then stitch, and press nicely.
