Download and print the pattern, then cut the fabric to size, and lay 1 background and 1 print triangle together with their right sides facing and edges lined up. Sew them together, then press the seams open, and cut off the nubs if needed. Continue to stitch together the rest of the half-square triangle pieces, then start laying them out into a block, and make sure to refer to the diagram. You can swap the print squares around until satisfied with how the block looks, then start stitching them together per row, and then the rows to each other making sure to press the seams open as you go.
