  • 1/3 cup of liquid smoke sauce
  • 1 cup of BBQ seasoning of your choice
  • 1 cup of water
  • ¼ cup of white vinegar

Sauce mixture

  • 2 cups of thick BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup of old-school peach jelly

Directions:

Step 1

Line the pan with aluminum foil, then lay the ribs, and add the seasoning salt, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke sauce, and BBQ seasoning. Rub the seasonings into the ribs making sure that both sides are well coated, then put it inside the preheated oven, and let it bake at 450°F for about 30 minutes. Once done baking, remove the pan from the oven, and pour the water and vinegar into the pan. Cover the pan with aluminum foil, then put it back inside the oven, and continue to bake for 60 minutes more at 350°F.

Step 2

While waiting for the ribs to finish baking, prepare the sauce mixture. Place a saucepan or pot on a stove over medium-high heat, then add the BBQ sauce and peach jelly, give them a good stir, and heat them up until smooth and combined. After an hour, remove the pan from the oven, then remove the cover as well, and baste the ribs with the prepared sauce mixture until well coated. Put the pan back in the oven uncovered to bake for a final 10 to 15 minutes or until nice and sticky. Serve and enjoy!
