When it comes to crafts and DIY projects, I always make sure to choose the ones that are budget-friendly or those that usually require you to repurpose items that you may already have in your house stored somewhere or you can literally find lying around such as twigs, tree stumps, dried leaves, etc. So, when I saw this toilet paper pumpkin by Debs Days on YouTube, there was just no way I wouldn’t try it.

It was very easy and simple to make and requires no sewing at all, but what I love the most about this project is that once the Fall season is over, you can unwrap the toilet paper pumpkin, set aside the fabric for other uses in the future, and use the toilet paper as you usually would. It was very practical and you wouldn’t put any item to waste because you can repurpose and reuse almost everything.
Step 1
Unroll the toilet paper a bit, then reroll it while twisting, this will make the toilet paper roll’s shape poofy. Lay the fabric on a surface with its right side facing down, then place the toilet paper roll in the middle, and bring one corner toward the middle tucking it in nicely.
Step 2
Continue to bring the fabric toward the middle, then pleat, fold, and tuck as you go, and then set it aside. Get a piece of twig, stick, or dowl, then tie the green piece of fabric around it, and insert the twig down the middle of the pumpkin roll to hold the edges down in place.
