If you love baking your own bread but hate kneading or using a machine, then try this no-knead version by artisanbreadwithstev on YouTube. It’s super easy to prepare and doesn’t require that much effort to make, you can also make 1 whole bread or make rolls instead. This recipe is very yummy and cheesy, but you can also add more cheese if you want, and serve it on the side of your favorite dip or with your favorite jam or spread.
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, add the cool water, instant yeast, salt, bread flour, and cheddar cheese, then gently stir them all together using the handle of a wooden spoon until the dough starts coming together, and scrape the sides clean with a spatula. Continue stirring the dough until there is no dry flour, especially at the bottom of the bowl, then cover it with plastic wrap, and allow it to proof for at least 8 hours up to 24 hours or overnight.
Step 2
After proofing, stir the dough with the handle of a spoon while pulling and stretching the dough at the same time as demonstrated in the video, then grease a skillet that is smaller than the Dutch oven you will use with nonstick cooking spray, and transfer the dough to the pan. Cover it with a lint-free towel and allow it to proof for about 30 to 60 minutes.

Step 3
For the roll, after stirring, pulling, and stretching the dough, transfer it to a floured counter, then lightly flatten it, and divide it into 4 parts adding more flour as needed. Shape each dough and keep tucking the sides underneath, then roll them into a log, and place them on a baking sheet lined with a Silpat. Press the dough roll down flatly, then cover it with a lint-free towel, and allow it to proof for about 30 to 60 minutes.
Step 4
Before the dough has fully proofed, move the oven rack to the lower third of the oven, then place the Dutch oven, and preheat it to 450°F. Once done preheating, grease the insides of the Dutch oven with nonstick cooking spray, then transfer and dump the dough from the skillet, and shake it to the center. Cover the Dutch oven with the lid, then place it in the preheated oven, and allow it to bake for about 30 minutes covered and an additional 5 to 15 minutes uncovered. For the rolls, bake them for about 20 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
