Step 1

Chop 1 can of the peaches into smaller pieces, then add them to a pot along with the remaining sliced peaches and then add the salt, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Give them a good mix, then bring it to a simmer, and add the ground cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and caramel flavor.

Step 2

Mix them until well combined, then let it stay in a simmer for an additional 10 minutes, then turn off the heat, and remove the pot from the stove. Preheat your oven to 350°F, then put the slices of butter in a baking dish, and place the baking dish in the oven to melt the butter completely.

Step 3

In a large bowl, add the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt, then give them a good whisk, and pour the batter into the hot melted butter. Gently spread the batter evenly, then scoop the peaches with a slotted spoon, and spread it in an even layer.

Step 4

Pour some of the juice but not all of it, then sprinkle more cinnamon on top if desired, and let it bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Let it rest for a few minutes to cool down, then serve with more peach juices on top, and enjoy
