I love a great salmon recipe and I am always looking for new versions to try. One of the most recent I’ve cooked is this oven-baked salmon by Cooking With Cladia on YouTube. It has easily become my favorite salmon recipe because of how flavorful and effortless it is to make, and the fact that you don’t even need that many ingredients to begin with.

However, you can still modify and swap the seasoning to your preference or use more as you please. The salmon is so tender and juicy, and the outer layer is simply mouth-watering, I bet that you wouldn’t want to stop eating it once you’ve taken a bite. Ingredients for Baked Salmon:

  • 1 (2-2.5 lbs) whole salmon
  • 4 tbsp of melted nutter
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1½ tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1½ tsp of Italian seasoning
  • 1½ tsp of paprika
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • ¼ tsp of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

How to Make Baked Salmon:

Step 1

Line a large baking pan with aluminum foil, then place the salmon in the center, and crimp the edges as demonstrated in the video.

Step 2

In a small mixing bowl, mix together the butter and minced garlic until combined, then spread half of it all over the salmon evenly, and set it aside.

Step 3

In a separate small mixing bowl, add in all of the spices, then mix them until uniform, and sprinkle them all over the salmon until evenly coated.

Step 4

Drizzle the remaining garlic butter mixture on top, then place it in an oven preheated at 375°F, and then let it bake for about 15 minutes.

Step 5

Turn the oven to broil, then baste the salmon with its juices, and broil it for about 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
