Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Step 1

Crack four eggs in a medium bowl, then whisk well. (If you don’t have an electric hand mixer, just whisk the eggs as much as you can.) Add 1 cup of powdered sugar, then mix well. Next, add 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and 1/4 tsp salt. (Make sure to sift all the dry ingredients before adding.) Mix it until all the lumps are gone. After this, add 1/2 cup melted butter, then mix it until the batter has a smooth consistency.

Step 2

After the batter has smoothened, add 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, then mix. Next, grease the baking pan all over with some butter, then add 1 tsp flour to the bottom. Spread the flour to coat all the sides of the baking pan. (Remove the excess flour if there is any.) After this, pour the batter into the baking pan. Gently tap it to remove the air bubbles. Preheat a large pan with 2 tbsp of cooking oil for five minutes in medium heat. Put a small stand in the center, then place the cake pan carefully. Cover it with a lid. Cook for about 45 to 50 minutes on low heat. After 50 minutes, poke a toothpick on the cake, and when it comes out clean without any cake sticking, the cake is done.
