I bet we can all agree that our Grandmas never fail to make the best-tasting snacks and desserts and that their recipes are still the ones that we prefer using even now. You know a dish is going to be good when it’s made entirely with love, just like this one by The Stay At Home Chef on YouTube! Learn how now and see for yourself.

Step 1: Crust
Preheat your oven to 375°F, then put the pretzels in a food processor, and pulse them until broken up into smaller pieces. Add the melted butter and sugar, then continue to pulse them until fine crumbs, and combined. Transfer them to the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish, then press them firmly, and place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Allow the crust to bake for about 10 minutes or until a bit more golden, then set it aside, and let it cool completely.

Step 2: Cream Layer
In a mixing bowl, add the whipping cream, half a cup of sugar, and vanilla extract, then beat them together until stiff peaks form. In a separate mixing bowl add the softened cream cheese and remaining half cup of sugar, then mix them until well combined, add half of the whipped cream mixture into the cream cheese mixture, and mix them until fully combined. Set aside the remaining half of the whipped cream in the fridge, then spread the cream mixture on top of the cooled crust, and make sure to smooth it out to the edges nicely.
Step 3: Jell-O Layer
Fill a saucepan with 2 cups of water, then bring it to a boil, and turn off the heat. Add the Jell-O powder, then give them a good stir until dissolved, carefully add in the sliced frozen strawberries, and continue to stir them until well mixed. Gently pour the strawberry mixture on top of the cream layer, then spread it evenly, and place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours or until completely set. Once ready to serve, spread the reserved and chilled whipped cream on top, then garnish with sliced strawberries, and serve. Enjoy!
