Step 1

Download and print the pattern, then cut out the template, and cut the fabrics to size. Get a print strip, then place a background square on each end of the strip with their right sides facing, and stitch them diagonally from corner to corner.

Step 2

Cut the excess layers and press them open, then make another piece to complete the top upper part of the flower, and proceed to cut the pieces for the base. Stitch the background pieces to the center triangle, then press the seams, and line up the strip units for the flower.

Step 3

Sew the curved pieces together, then turn them right sides out, and pin them to the center of a background strip. Place that strip unit at the very top of the flower strip units, then stitch them by pair, and the pairs to each other.

Step 4

Press it nice and flat, then quilt the curved piece at the top however you want, and proceed to piece the leaves quilt block. Watch the video tutorial to learn how to complete the quilt.
