Cupcakes are one of the best parties ever invented and it is a food that I enjoy eating any time of the day. They are commonly served at parties, gatherings, or holidays, and they are also best for giving as a gift. Either way, one thing’s for sure cupcakes will never fail to make you happy and satisfied!

Step 1
In a large bowl, add the softened butter, then whisk it around until creamy, add the granulated sugar, and give it a quick mix.
Step 2
Add in the egg, then keep whisking until the sugar has dissolved, add the lemon zest, and whisk before pouring in the milk followed by the sifted flour.
Step 3
Add in the baking powder and baking soda, then continue whisking to combine, and mix in the lemon juice and vanilla extract.
Step 4
Scrape the sides with a spatula, then give it a good mix, and set it aside. Line a cupcake pan with a cupcake liner, then fill each about ¾ full and place them in a preheated oven at 350°F.
Step 5
Allow them to bake for about 11 to 13 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean, then pipe them with desired frosting, and serve. Enjoy!
