All you need is a microwave and a few simple ingredients that you may already have available in your kitchen. It’s a classic dessert that has been passed down to generations and is sure to impress both kids and adults alike.

Step 1
In a large microwave-safe or Pyrex bowl, add the sugar, salt, sweetened condensed milk, and butter, then heat them in the microwave for about 3 minutes, and stir them well for 30 seconds until melted and combined. Put the bowl back in the microwave, then heat the mixture again for 2 minutes, and stir for another 30 seconds until smooth.
Step 2
For the last time, put the bowl back in the microwave for an additional 2 minutes, then take it out, and add in the pecans. Quickly mix and fold until evenly incorporated, then place it again in the microwave, and heat it with 1-minute intervals until desired thickness.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into a baking dish or pan grease it with butter, then spread it evenly, or drop spoonfuls on wax paper, and let it cool down completely until hardened. Once set, cut the praline pecan candy if needed, then serve, and enjoy!
