This quilt project by Missouri Star on YouTube is so neat and lovely and is made up of only 10-inch squares. This quilt has a beautiful and simple pattern, and I’m sure that you can make this perfectly even on your first try.
RELATED: How to Make Triangles in a Square Quilt
This is one of my most recent favorite quilts and I love how you can freely make this with any combination of fabrics that you want. But most of all, I love how this quilt leaves little to no leftovers at all! Learn how now and watch the video tutorial below.
Step 1
Cut the fabrics to size as instructed in the video, then stack 1 print square and 1 background square with their right sides facing, and draw a line at the back from corner to corner.
Step 2
Stitch on either side of the line with ¼ inch seam allowance, then cut it apart in half along the line, and press the seams toward the darker fabric. Add the print border strips on the side and bottom of the background side of the half-square triangle, then stitch them, and trim off the excess.
Step 3
Stitch the background strips on the top and side of the print side of the half-square triangles, then trim off the excess, and press the block nicely. Continue to make the rest of the blocks, then put them together, and finish your quilt however you want.
