Ingredients for Loaded Tater Tot Cups:

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 2 cups of frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup of cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup of cheddar, shredded
  • 1 cup of mozzarella, shredded
  • Sour cream, for topping

  • Freshly sliced green onions, for garnish

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F, then grease a 12-cup muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray, and fill each muffin cup with 3 tater tots in a single layer. Place them in the preheated oven, and allow them to bake for about 18 to 20 minutes or until soft and golden.

Step 2

Remove them from the oven, then preheat the broiler, and while the tots are warm, grease the bottom of a shot glass with nonstick cooking spray and press the tater tots with it to flatten and create a well.

Step 3

Sprinkle the cheddar, mozzarella, and bacon to each tater tot cup, then broil them for about 1 to 2 minutes or until the cheese has melted, and allow them to cool completely.

Step 4

Using a spoon, remove the tater tots cups from the pan one at a time, then place them in a serving platter or plate, and top each cup with sour cream and garnish with green onions. Serve and enjoy!
