I own a lot of white garments and towels, and if you do too, then you must know how stressful it is when they get stained, yellow, and dirty. You might even think that getting them out is pretty difficult unless you have an effective trick up your sleeve, and that is where this cleaning hack by Andrea Jean Cleaning on YouTube comes in handy! Now, you can make your whites as white as those that see in hotels, and what makes this even better is that the steps are pretty simple and easy to do.

Materials:

  • OxiClean
  • Rubber or plastic gloves
  • Liquid detergent
  • Fabric softener
  • Bleach, optional

Directions:

Step 1

Cover the drain of your sink, then fill it with hot water, and soak your whites in. Add a generous amount of OxiClean all over them, then wear gloves, and start tossing them around to dissolve the solution. Let them sit for about 6 hours or leave them overnight for best results, then once ready, add some more OxiClean directly into the machine drum, and wring the whites out of the solution squeezing out all of the excess water.

Step 2

Place the whites into the drum, then close the lid, and add the liquid detergent, fabric softener, and bleach (this is optional, and if you want an ultra-white result) to the container. Press the normal button on the machine, then turn it into a hot setting, and wash them nicely. Once you’re done, transfer them into the dryer, and enjoy super clean and fresh-smelling white garments.
