This recipe by Cooking With Claudia is one of my favorite ones to use when it comes to grilled pork chops because it’s so easy to follow and only requires 6 simple ingredients that most of us always have in the kitchen. This is also super convenient and quick to prepare for busy days or when you don’t know what to serve for dinner. Try this out now and see for yourself!

Ingredients:

  • 4 rib bone pork chops
  • 2 tsp of salt, or to taste
  • 2 tsp of pepper, or to taste
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil, or as needed
  • 1 tsp of paprika, or to taste
  • 1 tsp of dried thyme, or to taste

Directions:

Step 1

Drizzle some olive oil all over the pork chops, then massage and rub them on both sides until nicely covered, and then sprinkle a mixture of salt, pepper, paprika, and dried thyme all over them. You can add more seasonings as you like, the more generous amount the better, especially if the pork chops are thick, to make sure that they don’t go bland.

Step 2

Rub the seasonings in and pat them nicely, then turn the pork chops over, and season the other side as well. Set them aside and allow them to cool down to room temperature for about 20 minutes to ensure that they cook evenly, then preheat a grill pan on a stove over medium-high heat, and add some olive oil.

Step 3

Once the pan is hot and smoky, place the pork chops in batches to not overcrowd the pan, then cook them for about 3 to 4 minutes, flip them over, and cook the other sides for another 3 to 4 minutes or until nice and golden brown. Turn off the heat, then cover the pan, and allow the residual heat slow grill the pork chops for about 8 minutes to make them tender and juicy. Serve and enjoy!
