This quilt is called “Summer In The Park”, and it really does have that light airy feeling about it, making it very summery looking. This is a great way to use up a lot of your scrap of fabric. I was so surprised at how simple it was to sew, making it a great quilt for beginners.

I made one of these in bright colors for a baby gift. Babies love bright colors. They could stare at them for a long time. If you ask me, there’s hours of visual entertainment right there, and naps, of course. The people I gave this to flipped out over this quilt. I love that reaction when I give a gift, don’t you?

The thing I love most about quilts is all the color they add to your home! They also add that special touch of coziness and nostalgia that all homes scream for. A beautiful bright quilt always does the trick!

I come from a long line of quilters, so I grew up with quilts and love the way they feel to sleep under. There’s nothing better than a quilt to snuggle down with!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
