To make this quilt block you will only need a background fabric and 2 contrasting fabrics of your choice, either printed or solid colored would work. It’s super easy to piece together that you can make it even if you’re a beginner.
Step 1
Download the pattern and print it out, then cut the fabrics according to size. Grab a large background square, then place the small orange square on the top right corner with their right sides facing, and line the back diagonally from corner to corner.
Step 2
Stitch them along the line, then cut off the excess with ¼ inch seam allowance, and press the seams open. Do the same with the small green squares and make sure that they have 3 sets of each color.
Step 3
Grab the small sets of squares and pair each of them with one small background square, then turn them into strip units, and pair each strip unit with a matching rectangle.
Step 4
Stitch them together to form a block unit, then pair the 1st and 2nd block units of the same color, and stitch them together pressing the seams as you go.
Step 5
Get 2 of these pieced sets, then arrange them as shown in the video, stitch, trim, and press. Now, you can assemble the blocks however you want, refer to the pattern for ideas.
