  • 3 cups of powdered sugar
  • ½ cup of butter, softened
  • 2-4 tbsp of milk
  • Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
  • Sprinkles, for garnish
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F, then line a 12-cup cupcake pan with cupcake liners, and set it aside. Prepare the cake batter according to the package instructions, then fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with the batter, and place the cupcake pan in the preheated oven. Allow the cupcakes to bake for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean, then let them cool completely, and then prepare the frosting.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, add the sugar and butter, then beat them until smooth and fluffy, thin it with milk if needed, and then use an ice cream scoop to scoop the frosting on top of the cooled cupcakes. Drizzle them with chocolate syrup, then garnish with sprinkles and cherries, and serve. Enjoy!
