Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces of salmon fillets
  • half a stick of butter
  • 4 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 to 3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • juice of half a lemon
  • lemon wedges
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2  teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning

Instructions:

Step 1:

Mix 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper in a small bowl. Place the salmon fillet on a flat chopping board or flat plate then season them generously on all sides.

Step 2:

Place a pan over medium-high heat and add half a stick of butter. Let it melt until it becomes nice and brown. Once melted, add the chopped garlic, 4 tablespoons of honey, and lemon juice into the pan. Stir all ingredients well then lower the heat.

Step 3:

Place the seasoned salmon fillet into the pan. Let it cook for about 3 to 4 minutes then flip them to the other sides. Spoon the honey lemon sauce and pour it over the salmon fillets. Cook until the sauce thickens then add the lemon wedges. Turn off the heat.

Step 4:

Place in the broiler for a few minutes to caramelize the top of the salmon. Once done, remove from the broiler and transfer on a plate. Pour the sauce on top and garnish with parsley. Serve and enjoy!
