Now it’s a staple in our home, and my family, especially the kids, absolutely love this dessert! It’s so creamy and soft; it feels like it melts in your mouth. And it’s a plus if you love chocolate-flavored desserts. This chocolate pudding is one of those recipes you can make ahead of time, so it’s perfect if you will host a gathering. But you can absolutely serve this even if there’s no occasion, your family will surely have a good time. I’m sure your guests will love this heavenly dessert, also! Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cup milk chocolate (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose cream (or thick cream)
  • more cocoa powder for dusting

Directions:

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of cocoa powder, add 4 cups of milk, and mix it well to combine. After this, add 1/2 cup of cornstarch. Continue mixing until it fully dissolves. Once mixed well, strain it into a saucepan to remove any lumps. Add 1 1/2 cups of chopped chocolate and 1/2 cup of all-purpose cream. Mix well.

Step 2

Once fully combined, turn on the stove and cook it over low heat until it thickens. After this, pour it into a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Let it cool completely, then chill it in the fridge overnight. When serving, transfer it to a serving plate and dust some cocoa powder over the top.
