Whenever we clean our kitchen or bathroom, it’s very important to pay attention to the small details, for example, your mirror or faucets. These can easily be forgotten and over time, the calcium and mineral deposits or buildup can make cleaning a tough task for you as they can become harder to remove. That’s why you have to tackle the problem the moment you notice it, the earlier, the better. It’s also best to stick to a strict cleaning routine and to use the right method and products.

One of my favorite cleaning methods is this one by The Cleaning Habit on YouTube. It’s a very simple and straightforward technique, plus it only requires dishwashing soap and baking soda, both supplies which you may already have available at home. What I also love about this hack is that you can see the result almost instantly and the approach itself is very simple yet super effective. You should check out the video tutorial below and give it a try to see for yourself!

First, wash the faucet as you normally would using dishwashing soap, then make sure to scrub it clean with a cloth sponge, and rinse it with water. Next, cover it entirely with a generous amount of baking soda, then scrub it with a cleaning brush, you can use a small one so you can get to hard-to-reach places and crevices. Rinse it clean, then wipe the faucet dry, and coat it with a small amount of olive oil to make it shiny.
