Are you a fan of pinwheel quilt patterns? If you are, you should add this easy English garden quilt by Missouri Star to your list. As you can see, each block is made out of pinwheels, the only difference is the triangles on the corner and the square in the center. Just by adding those small details, they completely transformed the block into a different design.

Take one background square and one print square. Place them right sides together. Sew a 1/4″ seam allowance all the way around the block.
Cut it in half diagonally from corner to corner on both directions.
Square each one onto a 6 1/2″ square. Press them flat.
Using your coordinating solid, cut 2 1/2″ squares. Fold them in half diagonally.
Place two 2 1/2″ squares on two corners on the half-square triangles with the folded line across the seams. Sew right on the lines. Trim the excess. Press it flat. Repeat with the remaining half square triangles.
Arrange four of the blocks just like a four patch. See the photo below for reference. Press it flat.
Make 6 rows with 5 blocks each. When you arrange them, make sure the pinwheel goes all in the same direction.
