Drunkards Path Quilt is a project that may look intimidating at first glance but it is a quilt that’s so easy even beginners can try. This is also a quilt that you can make using a combination of only 2 fabrics or a couple of other different fabrics, you can also make this project look as scrappy as you want.

What I loved about this version of Drunkards Path Quilt by SewVeryEasy on YouTube is that it provides a more complex and playful approach to the classic quilt pattern, and it gives more opportunities for different designs depending on your preference. Learn how now by watching the video tutorial below and see for yourself.
Step 1
Get 2 fabrics of opposite colors and cut them into 8½-inch squares, then get another fabric of either color and cut it into a 6-inch square. Cut the fusible web into a square at 6 inches, then place it on the wrong side of one of the larger fabric squares, and iron it out to fuse.
Step 2
Let it cool and peel off the backing paper, then take the square and fold it in half diagonally making sure its right sides are facing, and then lay it on your cutting aligning the point with the line.
Step 3
Use a round ruler to cut the piece into a half circle, then unfold the piece, and lay it nicely on your work surface making sure its wrong side is facing up. Place the smaller square on top right where the glue is, then put a paper on top, and iron it out to fuse the fabrics together.
Step 4
Now, for the cutout circle, place it in the center of the other large square, then iron it down, and stitch the circles around with a blanket or zigzag stitch.
Step 5
Trim the blocks and cut them in half from both directions, then rearrange them however you, or refer to the video tutorial. Stitch them per row and then the rows to each other, and press as you go.
