Tulip quilts are beautiful and they are often easy to make which makes them perfect for beginners, and they also don’t require a pattern because the layout is very simple. But, if you want to take your tulip quilt to the next level, then try making this double tulip quilt block instead.

This quilt block is pieced together using only fabric strips and squares, plus, this quilt idea would make a great gift for Mother’s Day, too, or any occasion you may see fit. Learn how to make this easy quilt now with the help of this video tutorial by Teresa DownUnder on YouTube.
Step 1
Draw a diagonal line on the back of four 2×2-inch squares from corner to corner, then get 2 red print strips, and place 1 horizontally at the bottom and the other vertically on the right side of the strip.
Step 2
Place a background square on each end with their lines going toward the right direction, then place the pink strips on the inner corners, and place 2 squares on each end with their lines going toward the direction to the right.
Step 3
Place the green square on the inner corner, then place a background square on the side and a background strip at the top to complete the block, and break them into sections.
Step 4
Stitch them per section and make sure to stitch each background square on top of the print squares along the marked line, then trim off the excess fabric with an ¼ inch seam allowance, and press the seams as you go.
