Quilting is such a fun hobby that not everyone could agree or relate to, but to me, it is a great way to pass the time while making something that could be very useful. Some might think that the process of piecing together small fabrics to make a larger fabric is such a tedious task, but there’s just something fascinating and satisfying about it. First of all, you can put fabric scraps to good use and lessen what would otherwise go to waste, and you can make something beautiful out of it that you can even give as a gift to a loved one.

Step 1

Cut one square from fabric A and B at 9½ inches, then cut two squares from fabric C at 8⅞ inches.

Step 2

Cut fabric C in half diagonally and set it aside, then cut fabric A and B diagonally from both directions to make 4 triangles each.

Step 3

Lay the fabrics A and B together with their right sides facing, then stitch them down on one side to make a large triangle, and press the seams nicely.

Step 4

Make four sets of this, then pair each unit with a fabric C triangle, and join them together to make a square.

Step 5

Do the same steps for the rest and then arrange the blocks together as shown in the video, then start stitching them by pair then the pairs to each other, and press the seams as you go.
