When it comes to quilts, I always love a beautiful star pattern that uses bright or cool colors, and one of the most recent projects that I did is this one Jordan Fabrics on YouTube. This is such a fun quilt to make and it is also super easy to put together, not what I expected at first glance. I am very happy that I made this quilt and I will probably make this again with a different set of colors.
Step 1
Pick the fabric strips that you want to use, then cut all of the fabrics to size, and mark the backside of the background pieces at an angle diagonally. Lay the marked background piece on top of a jelly roll piece making sure that their outer edges are even and the lines from corner to corner, then sew along the marked line and press it open. Trim off the excess fabric, then repeat the same process with the rest of the pieces, and then lay the pieces together to form a block as shown in the video.

Step 2
Stitch the pieces together, then press them open and flat, and then proceed to sew the rest of the pieces together. Lay four blocks of a different color to form the star, then proceed to assemble the rest of the pieces and start sewing them per row making sure to press every now and then. Once done sewing each row, stitch them to each other, then add the inner border, outer border, backing, binding, and quilt however you want.
