2 Easy Dollar Tree Spring Crafts

What I love about the spring season besides the warmer weather are easter and flowers! It’s so fun to decorate the house with these themed decor pieces. Kids absolutely love them – they like the joyous spirit they bring. Sometimes they even join me to create crafts at home. To kickstart the season, here are two easy Dollar Tree spring crafts by This Southern Girl Can on Youtube. These simple and quick projects are the perfect decorations for your space. You can hang the basket on your door and place the carrot box on your table. Read on or watch the video below for full instructions. Happy crafting!

Materials:

First project: Carrot box

• tumbling tower game blocks (big box)
• wooden rabbits
• hot glue
• decorative moss
• decorative carrots

Second project: Easter basket 

• egg wreath form
• nautical rope jute
• happy easter ribbon
• pink and violet flowers
• wire cutters

Instructions:

First project: Carrot box

Step 1

Arrange 2 rows of brown blocks with 5 rows in each row. Glue them together with hot glue.

Step 2

Glue brown blocks on all the edges in a vertical position to make a box.

Step 3

Glue three bunnies on two sides and two bunnies on the other.

Step 4

Fill the box with decorative moss

Step 5

Lastly, stick the carrots onto the moss.

Second basket: Easter basket

Step 1

Wrap the nautical rope on the egg wreath’s bottom half, filling even the hole in the middle. Secure it in place with hot glue.

Step 2

Wrap the rest of the egg wreath with nautical rope. Do not wrap it in the middle, just the wreath itself.

Step 3

Make a big bow with the ribbon and glue it on the basket. After that, you can glue other embellishments if you like.

Step 4

Lastly, cut the flower stems from the branches using wire cutters, then insert them in the middle of the ropes.
