This is one of the easiest and simplest tutorials that you’ll ever find, plus it is very cheap too as you won’t be needing any other special materials aside from yarn, the rest you may find is already available around your home.

Materials:

  • Popsicle stick
  • Woolen yarn
  • Plain phone case
  • Glue gun and glue sticks
  • Small scissors
  • Marker pen or pencil

Directions:

Step 1

Place the popsicle stick on top of the phone case and use it to get the width, then mark where it starts and ends. Next, grab a woolen yarn and wrap it around the popsicle stick starting from the first mark and ending on the other mark, make sure to do this tightly and as close to each other as possible. Then, place the popsicle stick sideways onto the phone case and let it stand, add a strip of hot glue underneath to secure it in place.

Step 2

Cut the excess yarn at the end, then carefully cut the yarn loops open, and remove the popsicle stick. Attach another layer and place it beside the previous layer, place the next layers as close to each other as possible. Also, make sure that the previous yarns are not in the way, continue this all the way to the top, but avoid the camera area. Once done, trim away the yarn until it has the desired thickness, you can add other designs of your choice like googly eyes or charms.
