This is unbelievably easy to make and you don’t even need to have experience in sewing to be able to pull this off, all you have to do is follow the steps and instructions as written down below, and if you want a more detailed direction then go ahead and watch the video tutorial. All thanks to HGTV Handmade on YouTube for this wonderful project idea!
Step 1
First, take the lining out of your coat using your scissors, then cut it out right at the edge, and set it aside. Figure out which part of the coat you want to incorporate into your pillow, then remove the pillow from the package, and use the package as the template.
Step 2
Pin the pillow template securely to the fabric, then cut around it, and cut a piece of the lining using the same template as well. Lay together the main fabric and lining fabric with their right sides facing, then pin them securely, and stitch them around the sides making sure to leave a gap in the corner at about 5 to 6 inches long.

Step 3
Once done stitching remove the pinks, then turn the pillowcase right side out, and insert the pillow squeezing it in nicely until all corners are filled. Tuck in the edges of the opening, then pin them together, and stitch the gap close. Remove the pins and you’re done!
