Simple DIY Valentine’s Day Card For Husband

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and if you still don’t have any idea what gift to prepare for your loved one, then you might want to check out this DIY project idea by Hacks Land on YouTube. This cute and simple card is so easy to do that you can probably make a lot for your family! Materials:
- Cardstock
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Ribbon
- Beads
- Marker pen
Directions:
Step 1
Cut a heart shape out of a red card, then set it aside, and cut a black paper into 32 x 18cm or 12×7 inches. Fold the black paper across in half, then place the heart shape on top making sure that the curves are close to the folded edge as possible, and trace the shape. Cut the black paper, then adhere the red heart on top of the black heart with glue, and create 2 smaller hearts adhering them on top of each other before writing the word “love” at the center. Open the flap up, then glue a smaller heart at the center of the lower heart, and cut out a strip of white paper at 26 x 7.5cm or 10×3 inches.

Step 2
Fold the paper strip across in half, then again in half, and open it up once. Fold the folded side over to the center crease, then flip the paper over, and fold the other side of the strip toward the center crease. Open the paper strip all the way through, then fold it accordion style, and glue 1×2 inches pink strips of paper all over the back as shown in the video, make sure to adhere a different color of the paper at the very end of the white paper strip. Write down words on the pink strips, then adhere the upper end of the folded strip to the upper heart, and adhere the lower end to the bottom heart. Add some beads or decor, then adhere a ribbon at the back of the black heart, and tie it over to the front.
