Step 1

Make a t-shirt yarn out of ten t-shirts, then cut them into 5-inch pieces, and draw the design on your mesh rug canvas with a marker.

Step 2

Push the latch hook through a square, then fold one yarn piece in half, and loop it onto the hook.

Step 3

Pull the hook through the square carefully, then stop when you’re halfway through, push the latch hook through the loop, and hook it around the ends of the yarn strip.

Step 4

Pull the ends through the loop, then pull tight with your fingers, and continue to attach the loop yarn through the holes in the mesh.
