How to Make Pom Pom Wreath
Step 1: Wrap the yarn around the large rectangle 80 times—making sure it’s not too tight or too loose, then cut off the excess.
Step 2: Tie it tightly in the middle, then carefully remove the yarn from the cardboard template.
Step 3: Knot it securely and make sure to do this a few times to prevent the pom pom from unraveling later.
Step 4: Cut through the loops.
Step 5: Shape it into a round ball.
Step 6: Make 16 assorted colors, then make 18 in smaller sizes using the smallest template and circle. (you may need to make more depending on the size of your wreath)
Step 7: Glue the large pom poms around the wreath.
Step 8: Glue half of the small pom poms inside.
Step 9: Glue the remaining half outside of the wreath.
COLORFUL WREATH!
Bonus Tip!
- You can wrap a beaded wire around the wreath and add a ribbon to it for a cuter look!
- Change the colors of your yarn to make a version for Christmas, Fall, or any occasion you want.
- You can comb out the pom poms for a fluffier look.
