I love making DIY decorations especially during the Christmas season because you can make decor projects as colorful and as bright as you want. They are also often more fun to make and most of the time you can even use repurposed or recycled items which makes it budget-friendly and ideal if you don’t like your stuff going to waste. One of my recent favorites is this one by Fentertainment on YouTube and this is also the project where I got a lot of compliments.

It’s a very interesting and bright wreath, and you wouldn’t even notice that it’s made up of only plastic cups, yes, you read that right, it’s entirely made up of that material! Plastic cups are very easy to find and they’re affordable, too, and making this wreath is a great idea to make your Christmas lights more appealing. It also doesn’t takes a lot of effort to make because all you have to do is basically staple everything together and insert the light bulbs into the bottom.
Step 1
Prepare all of the materials you’ll need, then get two plastic cups, and staple them together in the middle. Add another cup on either side, then staple it in place, and keep adding a cup one at a time until the wreath becomes a full circle.
Step 2
Next, plug your soldering iron and once it’s hot, use it to make a hole on the bottom of each cup, and in those holes, insert the bulb of the Christmas light.
Step 3
Make sure to unplug the soldering iron and carefully set it aside, then add more embellishments to your wreath if you like, and add a hanging hook or loop so you can hang it to your door.
