Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to show your favorite person in the world how much you care than by giving them gifts or tokens of appreciation. It doesn’t have to be expensive, tangible, or necessarily an item to be considered a gift; simply greeting and thanking them is more than enough and is the best gift you can ever give.
But, it would still be nice if you could give your Mom or Wife something to show your love, and if you can’t decide what to buy or give, then I highly recommend creating this DIY heart gift card, and I guarantee they will be touched!

How to Make a Gift Card for Mother’s Day
Step 1: Choose a single and double heart template on the internet, then print it out and cut the shape just outside the dotted line. Trace the template on a piece of colored paper, then cut around the shape.
Step 2: Trace a round object onto the colored paper, then carefully cut out the circle into a spiral. Start rolling the cut paper tightly until you reach the end, and secure the tip with glue.
Step 3: Trace the single heart template and make 2 red hearts (make sure the size of this heart is smaller than the double heart). Open the card, then glue the 2 red hearts inside the card.
Step 4: Fold down the heart card, then attach the roses or rolled papers on top of the card until the space is completely filled.
Step 5: Cut out a piece of metallic paper heart and shape it into a cone by joining the curved corners together. Place the heart card inside the cone for a cute bouquet look.
You can now decorate and add any message that you want!

Pro Tip
If the rolled papers/roses are difficult to adhere to the card, you can use hot glue instead, and it will hold faster and better!
