Easy DIY Upcycled Glassware Garden Flower Tutorial

I’ve always felt like something was missing in my garden and that is the reason why I decided that it’s time for another DIY project. The craft project that I chose is this one by My Little Slice of Paradise on YouTube because it looked so pretty and easy to make.

It was indeed very simple to piece together and the materials used in this project were all upcycled, you can use your old glassware or purchase some from the nearest Dollar store. Learn how to make this today and prepare a few pieces for your garden.

Materials for Glassware Garden Flower:

• Glassware, assorted size, shape, and color
• Beads
• Wire
• Cutter
• E6000
• Hockey puck or glass bottle
• Air-dry clay
• Steel bar

How to Make a Glassware Garden Flower:

Step 1

Cut the wire in assorted sizes depending on the height of the glassware you’re putting at the center, then insert a bead on the end of each wire, and put some air-dry clay in the hole to keep it in place.

Step 2

Apply a generous amount of adhesive to the bead, then insert it down into styrofoam so that it’s kept upside down, and let the adhesive drip down the wire itself.

Step 3

Let it dry completely, then on your work surface, start stacking your glassware to see how you want it to look and how many layers you’ll do. Now, attach the glassware with adhesive, then adhere the wire with the beads to the center, and decorate the flower with more beads.

Step 4

If you’re using a hockey puck, drill a short hole on one side, then attach the glassware flower to the hockey puck’s flat side, and insert it down a steel bar through the drilled hole. If you don’t have a hockey puck, then you can use a glass bottle instead, attach the flower to the side of the bottle, and insert it upside down on the steel bar.
